My art has several purposes:
1. To communicate God's heart and share his love. Many of my pieces feature a personal testimony of things God spoke to me, of ways he touched me, or of visions he gave me. Sometimes , God will speak to me as I go along and create abstractly. Sometimes he will speak to me about the piece afterwards. Sometimes he will give me the vision ahead of time to convey. Because his Holy Spirit is inside me, almost every piece has a touch of God.
2. As worship and adoration for my savior, king, best friend, comforter, counselor, my everything, Father God. He created so much beauty around us, and there's so much goodness and love in him to be thankful for and awestruck about.
3. As an act of healing and expression for myself that God has prompted.
4. As a catalyst for the power of God to touch, heal, deliver, and transform the person viewing it. God can do anything he wants, and he wants to use the arts to spread his kindness and goodness to humanity. I'm just the willing vessel who will allow
God to do it. Let God speak to you about what he wants to do in you as your view it.
5. As a way to support the poor, needy, and afflicted, particularly the homeless. 30% of my earnings will go towards this ministry which I am personally involved in (Go to the ministry page to learn more about it.)
6. As a way to support myself and my family.

This was a commisisoned piece on a piece of oak wood. The person that hired me wanted it to look like my other almond blossum menorah painting but have seven branches instead of 9, to match the lampstand in Exodus 25 31-40. She also wanted it to be in Acrylic. She was doing a Beth Moore Study on the Lampstand. I enjoyed making it. This painting lived through a kitchen fire without any damage. God spoke to me about his constant, timeless presence, his unending truth, and his unending, love, that nothing could take away, not even the fiery trials of life or all the demons of hell.

Trust in me. Trust my love for you. It is real. I will show you just how good I am, just how much I love you, but you must trust me with your full heart. Do not keep anything back from me. Submit to my will and plan for you, and trust that I will work all things for the good, better than you could have imagined. I am a good God, a loving God. When all is said and done, my Truth and love will remain, and nothing will quench it out. Nothing can destroy it. Immerse yourself in my everlasting love. Stand on this Truth. Wrap yourself in me, in this Truth: that I will be here for you for Eternity. Nothing can separate you from my love.
